I am a Creative Copy Lead with a passion for words. I know that copywriting and editing isn't just writing. It's understanding an audience. It's being curious about their wants and needs. It's living and breathing a brand TOV. It's paying attention to detail. It's having creative intent. It's strategic thinking. It's tailoring communications. It's using words to evoke emotion and provoke action. It's problem solving and solution finding. It's constantly seeing copy in the wild and being both inspired and in awe of the creativity.
I manage a global team of writers across multiple timezones, working closely with clients in order to understand and maintain their needs and create a smooth workflow between my team and theirs.

I was hired at DEPT® to help win a client and was offered a full-time role as we secured it. I've since had the opportunity to work on multiple clients, projects and pitches, managing a team across the world.

Copywriter
As the sole copywriter in the head office, anything that needed writing came to me. Product copy, B2B emails, B2C emails, internal communications, blog writing—sometimes even just proofing important emails for other staff members.

The outdoors
I run, hike, swim, dip, camp and generally prefer to be outside than indoors. Luckily, I have a Golden Retriever who also enjoys all of the above and is always ready for our next adventure.
Film and TV
My love for cinema has grown over the last few years and I've become to understand the art of film as more than just a visual medium. Favourite film? When Harry Met Sally. Favourite show? The Sopranos.
Cooking
My kitchen is a safe space for creativity and de-stressing. I’m generally pretty good at following rules in life—until it comes to recipes. I love trying new things, putting my own spin on things and forcing newly-created flavours on those around me.
Acting
Perhaps influenced by my love for cinema, I’ve dipped in and out of amateur acting classes throughout my twenties and it’s become a creative outlet I never knew I needed.
